This landing page is for the sporting goods retailer Sport Chek as they try to advertise their clearance sale. This landing page is very well designed as the second you click on it and are taken to it, you know what the company is trying to get you to do (Call to Action). They would like to convert the consumer to shop for products for their clearance sale. This is evident by the massive sale text of 60% off highlighted in bright yellow. As well as the red button that says "shop now".
The landing page also is effective in selling to multiple customer segments. This done by having a navigation bar that includes departments for men, women ,kids, etc. This allows people to browse around if they want or search up specific products by clicking and typing in the big search bar.
The only thing that the landing page fails to communicate is one of the three key criteria for effective webdesign. The unique selling proposition. This is a statement as to why customers should by the company's products over its competitors. Providing a unique selling proposition could help the likely hood of converting customers to shop their products and ultimately making the landing page more effective.

Moreover, you also explained how design of website can make people to (CTA) because of very organised format of the landing page which helped me to understand your topic about having good landing page. I agree that good landing page is the first impression on any person who visit the website and it can help any company or business to have more profit online because of great website with clear tabs, categories of products, CTA’s search engine support tab and the message that what service does company is providing. In addition to that, the other thing which is important for having good traffic on website is sending good emails with clear message of services that reader will click on the link to check if he or she can find anything relevant on that website.
